Bababunmi Babatunde Osunsanya was born in Lagos in 1945. Bababunmi completed his Advanced Level education at the Federal School of Science in Onikan, Lagos. He was a member of Christ Church Cathedral Choir in Marina, Lagos. Bababunmi relocated to Budapest, Hungary, where he studied Biochemical Engineering at the Budapest Technical University. He completed his industrial training at the Hungarian Breweries Kobanya Hungary. In 1974, he married Dr. Violet Bodunrin Osunsanya, nee Fshina, in Budapest. Their marriage has been blessed with children and grandchildren. Bababunmi enjoyed a successful, trailblazing career in the brewing industry. He pioneered the use of local, raw materials in beer brewing in Nigeria, which led many other companies to do the same. Even in retirement, he is active and innovative in his field. He started a bottling company in Ibadan which processes and bottles palm wine. He is a member of many professional and academic organizations. Bababunmi came to know Rev. Moses through his friends the Alabis and the Adepojus. In the early days of GCB, he joined the burgeoning church’s formational meetings. Bababunmi and Violet have remained faithful members ever since. He is active in GCB’s community online from his home in Nigeria. When the Osusanyas are in Brockton, they worship at GCB in person. He is a committed chorister at the All Saints Church in Jericho, Ibadan, Oyo State. He enjoys classical and church music.
