Mike Weidenfeller has been an active member of the New England music community for over 25 years. He has regularly performed on and taught guitar, piano, bass, drums, and organ. He received his Bachelor of Music from Boston’s Berklee College of Music, and his Master of Music from Cambridge’s Longy School of Music at Bard College.
Since 2011, Mike has taught middle and high school students at Dana Hall in Wellesley. He has produced albums by the bands Babaloo, Looker, The Cha Cha Cha Allstars, Woza Moya, as well as the What’s Growing in Concord? soundtrack and Corporate Video music. His music has been featured in FX’s The Shield, ABC’s Beautiful People, Next Stop Wonderland, The Music Man, NPR’s Hear and Now, What’s Growing in Concord?, Change for Children, and the That’s Amore Italy National ad campaign. He has been the organist and choir director at GCB since 2011. Although his son is a big music fan, he prefers to do parkour and can do both front and back flips.
