Praise, Prayer and Testimony Sunday: In the context of the Holy Eucharist Rite II liturgy, our last Sunday is very meaningful. The service begins at 10am with the opening hymn and the readings, a Psalm and the Gospel. We then invite congregants to sing their favorite hymns, pray or share personal testimonies of God’s faithfulness in their lives. People are welcome to sing or speak in native languages. Next we say the Creed followed immediately by the prayer of the people; we invite congregants to offer prayers in their native languages. The greetings of Peace, announcements and the offertory precede the Great Thanksgiving. Service ends with blessings and processional closing hymn around 11.30am.
Our children worship with us and render special presentations on every last Sunday of the month. Children who are too young or unable to sit still are well taken care of by our child care providers at the nursery. All children join us for communion and blessing around 11.30am.
A time of social hour with coffee and snack begins immediately after service; during this time, people get to know each other and chat with the priest
